Newport Gulls

This wooden-bat, summer collegiate baseball club is a member of the competitive New England Collegiate Baseball League. Since 2001, the Gulls have played at Cardine's Field, an historic Fenway-esque park built in 1908 and located just one block from the Jailhouse Inn.
Games are frequent, tickets are inexpensive, and the scene is wholesome and enjoyable for all ages.  There's nothing quite like watching a baseball game from the top tier of bleachers as the sun sets over Newport Harbor, just a stone's throw (ahem, a baseball's throw) away.
The Newport Gulls won the league championship during the Summer 2013 season.
In addition to regular season games, the team offers youth summer camp programming.  Details are available at:  www.newportgulls.com.
